You may be wondering what software to use for your business. Do you use ClickFunnels or Leadpages?
In this article, I’m going to fill you in on the differences between ClickFunnels vs Leadpages. I’m also going to tell you which one I think is better and easier to use and why.
I’m also going to walk you step-by-step through building a funnel. By the end of the article, you’ll know exactly which software platform you’ll want to use and how it can help you.
How Are Funnels Useful?
I was at an event recently talking to some people about funnels and some of them mentioned they didn’t know what a funnel was. They asked if that’s what Leadpages is used for.
I told them how funnels are much better when it comes to e-commerce because when you put a product in a funnel, you kind of put blinders on your site visitors.
When people visit your funnel, they only see one product and the funnel directs them to buy that product. They only have the one option and there isn’t the threat of confusion in the buying process. It takes them through a sequence to make the buying process clear and simple.
Whereas with a Shopify store, there are a lot of different products to choose from, which can distract and deter site visitors from buying. By giving too many options all at once, you lose sales you could have had by showing only one option.
ClickFunnels vs Leadpages: How Are They Different?
There is a big difference between ClickFunnels and Leadpages. So what is the difference between them?
Leadpages only has a two-step process: the landing page and the thank you page. That’s it. You can’t do much else in Leadpages. After the landing page and thank you page, you’re on your own.
ClickFunnels, however, does so much more and has many more options for you to choose from. Though Leadpages is good for what it does, ClickFunnels takes things to a whole new level.
ClickFunnels allows you to set up sequences, sell your products directly in the funnel, host membership areas, set up email automation, and so much more.
They also have an affiliate program you can set up for your own products so other marketers can promote your products and services as an affiliate.
With ClickFunnels, you can create landing pages, sales pages, order pages, upsells and downsells, and so much more. The magic of ClickFunnels is in being able to have upsells and downsells to increase the average cart value.
For example, McDonald’s does this very thing. You go into McDonald’s and order a hamburger. The cashier always asks if you want fries and a drink with that. That’s an upsell. They’re adding additional products on to the order and if you say yes, they just increased the order value.
In ClickFunnels, you can simply add a button that when they click on it, they are automatically charged for the upsell without having to put in their credit card information again.
ClickFunnels makes the selling and buying process simple.
You can also have downsells in your funnels. Downsells are products or services you sell to the customers who say no to the upsell.
For example, you could offer the same product or service but with a payment plan or at a lower price. This increases your chances of making many more sales than you would with only upsells.
There are also different types of funnels you can create. You can create webinar funnels, sales funnels, product launch funnels, membership funnels, and many more.
ClickFunnels has many templates you can use for a number of different types of funnels to get you started. So ClickFunnels vs Leadpages? The functionality of ClickFunnels is incomparable.
